This initiative brings huge relief to students and parents across the country. By covering nearly half of the admission cost, the government continues to show support for future teachers and the development of quality education.
It’s important for applicants to note that the GH₵2,994.42 balance is non-refundable. Payments should therefore be made carefully through the official channels, and receipts must be kept safe for verification.
Beyond reducing financial pressure, this policy encourages more young people to pursue teacher education without fear of cost barriers. Education remains a foundation for national progress, and policies like this strengthen Ghana’s vision for an inclusive and empowered future.
