VOLTA RIVER AUTHORITY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

The Volta River Authority (VRA), as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, provides financial support to brilliant but needy students within the Authority’s impacted communities under our Community Development Programme (CDP) Scholarship Scheme.

Based on the above, the VRA would be grateful if you could furnish us with names of students who have gained admission into a Public Tertiary Institution as regular students, and not as fee-paying for the 2025/2026 Academic year.

We are also pleased to inform you that the scholarship application process has been digitalized and potential applicants are to visit https://vracdpscholarship.azurewebsites.net to apply, attach relevant documents and submit online.

Below are the criteria for the selection of potential beneficiaries.

The requirements are as follows

The student must be a native of the impacted community.

The student should have attended a Public Basic School in the impacted community.

The student must have obtained between aggregates 6-24 at the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) Levels.

He or She must have gained admission into a Public Tertiary Institution in the country as a regular student and not as a Fee-paying student.

The student must upload copies of Admission letter, Basic Education and Senior High School Certificates, Introductory Letters from the Traditional Council and District Assembly.

The selected student would benefit from support for Tuition Fees, Student Representative Council and a Stipend at the Tertiary level.

Emphasis of the awards is on Brilliant but Needy.
