Ghana Prison Service has started issuing message to applicants for the next phase of the recruitment screening

Ghana Internal security recruitment exercise is currently on the second phase. The screening exercise started on the 12 January 2026 with the session divided into morning and afternoon. Same time the screening exercise has been divided for the four services, police, prison, immigration and fire service. Many applicants have applied for more than one or two different services and it’s mandatory that all should benefit from each of the screening that may be scheduled for an applicant. The screening has been scheduled in such a way that no one will be left out by the end of the screening for the four services.

The screening is set to end on 4th February 2026. Police service has started on Monday, 12th January 2026 and will end on Thursday 15th January.

Prison Service is also scheduled on Monday , 19th January and will end on Thursday 22nd January 2026.

As of today, the prison service has started sending messages to its qualified applicants through SMS notifying them on the schedule date, venue, time and the session ( morning or afternoon) an applicant should attend.

All applicants of prison services are advised to check their SMS for confirmation. If you haven’t received any message, please follow the steps below to access the portal to track your application status.

1. Click on the link below https://gps.cserpgh.com/

2. Click on track application progress

3. Select serial and PIN mode and enter your serial number and PIN or use your email and password used for the registration in case your pin and serial number not available

4. Click on track on the left top corner of your device and you will see the status of your application with your screening center, date and time.
