Goku Justice - 1st February 2026

The Ghana Education Service has officially announced that postings for teachers returning from study leave have been completed. In a statement released by the Public Relations Unit at the Service’s headquarters in Accra, management assured affected teachers that the long wait for their reposting has come to an end. The announcement, dated 30th January 2026, is intended to inform all teachers who temporarily left the classroom to further their education that arrangements have now been finalized for their return to active service.

According to the statement, teachers returning from study leave are required to take the next step by accessing the official GES portal to check their postings. Management has provided a designated link where teachers can verify their placements and print out their posting slips. This process is expected to make the transition back into the classroom smoother and more transparent, ensuring that every returning teacher knows exactly where they have been assigned.

After printing their placement slips, teachers are to submit these documents to their respective Regional Education Directorates. The submission period has been clearly stated to run from Monday, 2nd February, to Friday, 6th February. During this time, the regional offices will process the documents and issue official posting letters to the teachers. The Service has emphasized the importance of meeting this deadline to avoid unnecessary delays in resuming duty.
