Russian Embassy Responds to Alleged Misconduct by Supposed Citizen in Ghana

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Ghana has taken note of media reports in Ghana concerning the alleged involvement of a man described as a Russian citizen in sexual activities with some Ghanaian women, which were reportedly recorded and circulated without their consent.

In a statement, the Embassy indicated that it is aware of the allegations circulating in sections of the Ghanaian media and expressed concern over the seriousness of the claims.

The Embassy further stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and is prepared to cooperate with the appropriate Ghanaian authorities if required. It also emphasized the importance of respecting the laws of the Republic of Ghana and upholding the rights and dignity of all individuals involved while investigations continue.
