NEW MUNICIPAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE ENGAGES GA SOUTH MUNICIPAL MANAGEMENT TEAM
The newly appointed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga South, Hon. Moses Kabu Kubi Ocansey, has officially engaged with the management team of the Municipal Assembly to introduce himself and familiarize himself with the operations of the various departments and agencies.
During the meeting, heads of departments took turns to introduce themselves and provided brief overviews of their roles, functions, and ongoing activities. This gave the MCE a comprehensive understanding of each department’s responsibilities and current initiatives.
Hon. Ocansey was also presented with the Handing Over Notes prepared by his predecessor, outlining the Assembly’s current operational status and ongoing projects.
In his remarks, Hon. Ocansey emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork in achieving the President’s Resetting Agenda. He encouraged staff to uphold integrity, remain committed, and work collaboratively toward the development of the municipality.
He also commended the management and staff for their dedication and contributions over the years and expressed his optimism about fostering continued progress in Ga South.
Later in the day, the MCE received a number of visitors who came to lodge complaints about flooding in their communities. He listened attentively to their concerns and assured them of prompt attention and appropriate follow-up actions.
The day’s activities concluded with a series of meetings between the MCE and key officials, including the Municipal Coordinating Director, Internal Auditor, and Municipal Finance Officer, aimed at deepening his understanding of the Assembly’s financial and administrative system
