Ghana Armed Forces contacted First Batch potential recruits for Medical Screening

The Ghana Armed Forces recruitment process has entered an important stage, as the first batch of applicants has officially begun receiving notifications for medical screening. On 15th December, selected candidates were informed about their next step in the enlistment process, marking a significant milestone for those aspiring to serve in the Armed Forces.

According to information gathered so far, the medical examination for the first batch will take place in Tamale. The designated venue is the 6 Medical Reception Station, commonly known as 6MRS or 6BN. Candidates who received notifications are expected to report to this location early and adequately prepared, as the exercise will follow a strict schedule.

The medical screening is scheduled for 22nd December, with reporting time set for 6:00am. Applicants are advised to arrive on time, as lateness may affect participation in the exercise. Early arrival will also allow candidates to go through the necessary verification procedures smoothly before the medical examination begins.

There are specific fees associated with the medical screening. Male applicants are required to pay an amount of Ghc1,600.00, while female applicants are to pay Ghc1,650. Proof of payment is mandatory and will be checked as part of the verification process at the venue.

All candidates are expected to come along with essential documents such as

1. summary sheet,

2.Ghana Card,

3. official bank payment receipt

4. a flat file and pen

5. one passport-sized photograph.

Applicants are strongly advised to double-check these items before traveling to the venue to avoid unnecessary complications.

In addition to documentation, grooming standards will be strictly enforced. All male applicants are required to keep their hair short and neat and to shave very well ahead of the medical examination. This forms part of the general discipline and appearance standards expected within the Ghana Armed Forces.
