One of the Main academic documents needed for this application is WASSCE/SSCE. An applicants must have have C6 up to D7 in the following subject, English Maths and Science. Any applicant with D7 is qualified to apply for only Army and have no opportunity to choose Navy or Air Force. With the wide range of consideration in the results up D7, people still failed to meet the academic requirements due to further low grade. With the age limit, from 18 to 25 for general service recruit and 26 to 27 for tradesmen.
The Ghana Armed Forces has rethought of it’s initial academic requirements restrictions and decide to give alternative to those with passion but their WASSCE results is denying them the opportunity.

The Ghana Armed Forces has now given the opportunity to all BECE certificate holders with 6 passes and with any form of handiwork certificate like plumber, Mason, IT technician, Instrumentalists and more to apply using form F. The age limit for this category is 30. It’s great opportunity for all BECE CERTIFICATE and handiwork certificate holders to take advantage of it and apply now. What this means is that, if your WASSCE/SSCE results is not encouraging or qualifies you to apply, you can use your BECE CERTIFICATE results with 6 passes and with handiwork certificate to apply and forget about the Wassce results. Note: if you are 31 years, you will be disqualified.
