A high-stakes meeting between UTAG President Prof. Mamudu Akurugu and the government is set for Tuesday, June 10, 2025. The agenda is to address the growing frustrations around conditions of service, salary concerns, and delayed commitments made to tertiary institution lecturers.

This emergency dialogue follows weeks of mounting pressure from UTAG members, many of whom have signaled readiness to strike 13th June,2025 if no concrete action is taken.
