Know when 2025/2026 national service for college of education will commence

The college of education students who completed this year on 16th September,2025 are expected to start their teacher licensure exam on 13th October to 15th October,2025. Most students asked are they doing national service?

The 2024/2025 service personnel are currently on Post. The current level 400s will be added to various basic schools for their internship and making the school have at least the maximum or enough service teachers or students teachers to occupy various classrooms.

This won’t give the room for those who completed this year to also begin their national service this year. Per the calendar, the 2024/2025 service personnel will end their service in February,2026. The current level 400 students will also end their internship by 7th March,2026 per the calendar.

This will creates more space for incoming Service Personnel in various basic schools. This means that 2025/2026 service personnel of college of education should prepare to start their national service in early March or late March.
