Over few days ago, John Dramani Mahama head to kumasi to launch one of his campaign promises called Adwumawura program for the youth.
On his arrival, there was a lot of crowds along the entrance to the auditorium of the program.

These people were identified as the newly recruited teachers under the previous government before leaving office.
According to them, some has received their staff ID and their full monthly salary, others also have received their staff ID with only 2 months payment and some too didn’t receive staff ID nor their 8 months salary.
The issue has escalated to the high rank and the minister of Education’s attention has been drawn to that.
Today, the newly posted teachers facing this challenging went for picketing at the ministry of Education and the minister of education Haruna Iddrisu address them properly about their worries.
According to the Minister, he was informed that over 39,000 teachers were recruited under the previous government. Meanwhile there was no financial clearance for those recruitments. He went ahead said that, he understand some of these recruited teachers were misled during the recruitment but they should understand that it wasn’t him or John Dramani Mahama’s administration who did that.
He promised to relook into their appointment and certainly if 9,000 or 10,000 or 11,000 or 12,000 people can be considered by the government but all the 39,000 can’t be absorbed. Please feel free and share on every social media platforms thank you.
