Ministry of Foreign Affairs Approved Issuance of Ghanaian passport to the American Biggest streamer popularly known as Ishowspeed

The American Biggest Streamer popular known as Ishowspeed made a historic visit to Ghana after been in so many African countries.

His visit has brought an emerging resurface of Ghana’s Tourism.

The ministry of Foreign Affairs thought wise to honor him with a Ghanaians passport due to the Great impact he has made in our the Ghanaian culture within this short period of his visit.

“I am pleased to inform you and our compatriots that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the issuance of a Ghanaian Passport to IShowSpeed,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced.

In a post on social media on Tuesday Jan 27, 2026, Mr Ablakwa indicated that following discussions with YouTuber Wodemaya, and subsequent “confirmation of the irrefutable ties of IShowSpeed to Ghana, I am pleased to inform you and our compatriots that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the issuance of a Ghanaian Passport to IShowSpeed.”

“Keep making our great nation Ghana, and our beloved African continent proud.

Ghana celebrates you both you remain our worthy ambassadors, and we are ever so delighted to have granted you a diplomatic passport last year,” the Minister added.

The announcement followed IShowSpeed’s visit to Ghana and a livestream to his over 50 million followers last Monday.
