The National Service Authority (NSA) has rolled out PIN codes for 132,393 graduates from 100 recognized institutions, setting the stage for the 2025/2026 national service season. Compared to recent years, this figure represents a 26% drop in eligible graduates — a change driven by stricter data verification and efforts to eliminate false submissions.
To boost the integrity of the registration process, the NSA has introduced two major updates: facial biometric authentication and the mandatory use of GhanaPost GPS addresses during online registration.
Graduates can activate their PIN codes starting June 17. The activation fee is GHS 40 at any ADB Bank branch or GHS 41 if using MTN Mobile Money. The deadline for registration is July 1, 2025. Please join us on WhatsApp now https://chat.whatsapp.com/IwYdwerq679JpLNCAQXatL
One noteworthy development this year is the launch of a pilot Military Pre-Deployment Option. Graduates who opt in will undergo a six-week basic military training program before their official postings, though this will not alter where they are ultimately posted.
However, not all graduates are eligible. Students from 22 tertiary institutions that currently lack accreditation have been excluded. These schools have a 30-day window to resolve their accreditation issues with the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) if they want their students considered for service.
