The National Service Authority has officially rolled out its long-awaited electronic service certificates, giving both current and past National Service personnel a faster and more convenient way to access proof of service.
In a press release issued by the Authority, management confirmed that the e-certificates are now live on the NSA portal. Personnel can log in using the link https://posting.gnsa.gov.gh/home/certificate-service, apply, and download their certificates without going through the usual delays associated with physical copies. This move is expected to ease pressure on district offices and reduce the stress many former service personnel face when documents are urgently needed.

According to the NSA, serving and past personnel who need their certificates can apply instantly through the portal. While the digital certificate comes with a prescribed fee, it is optional and does not replace the physical certificate. Those who still prefer printed copies can request reprints through the same platform.
Alongside the release of the e-certificates, the Authority also announced that the Annual Evaluation Forms for the 2024/2025 service year have been uploaded. All personnel currently serving within this batch have been advised to download, complete, and submit the forms to their respective District National Service Offices.
The NSA emphasized that personnel serving in the 2024/2025 year will only gain access to their e-certificates after submitting a duly approved Annual Evaluation Form. This requirement, the Authority explained, is part of efforts to ensure accountability and proper documentation of service.

To access the e-certificate, applicants must submit an online request using their NSS details and wait for approval, which may take up to five working days. Once approved, applicants are required to make payment, complete identity verification using their Ghana Card, and take a live facial capture before downloading the certificate directly from the portal.
The Authority has encouraged all organizations and institutions to recognize and accept NSA-issued e-certificates as valid proof of national service. Any institution seeking further confirmation has been advised to contact the Authority through its official channels.
The NSA believes the initiative will make the certification process smoother, faster, and more reliable for thousands of service personnel across the country.
