NSA Responds to Registration Glitches on National Service Portal
JUSMAnewshub - 10th October,2025

The National Service Authority (NSA) has addressed concerns raised by prospective service personnel following technical difficulties on the National Service registration portal. The platform, which officially opened on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, for the 2025/2026 batch, recorded several cases of data mismatches—particularly errors involving applicants’ names and dates of birth as compared to details on their Ghana Cards. In a statement released on Thursday, October 9, the NSA assured applicants that steps have been taken to resolve these issues and outlined clear procedures to follow.
Affidavits for Mismatched Data
According to the Authority, individuals whose details submitted by their educational institutions differ from those on their Ghana Card must swear an affidavit and have it gazetted. The document should then be submitted to their respective institutions, which will forward the corrected details to the National Service Secretariat (NSS) for final verification. This process is meant to ensure that applicants can complete their registration without further complications.
Institutional Corrections
For cases where the error originated from the tertiary institution itself, the NSA advised affected students to promptly contact their school’s administration. The institution is responsible for rectifying the mistake and communicating the corrected data directly to the NSS for processing.
Submission Process for Corrected Details
All verified corrections are to be emailed by the institutions to classlist@nss.gov.gh, with a copy sent to tweneboah.kodua@nss.gov.gh. The Authority emphasized that this procedure will help streamline the resolution process and avoid further delays.
Assurance to Prospective Personnel
The NSA reiterated its commitment to ensuring that every eligible graduate is duly registered to serve in various sectors critical to national development. It also urged applicants facing persistent challenges to visit the nearest NSA District or Regional Office for assistance or reach out to the Head Office support team for clarification.
The Authority expressed appreciation for the patience of all prospective service personnel and reaffirmed that the 2025/26 national service registration will proceed smoothly once data inconsistencies are fully resolved.
