Reimbursement of fees to first year students under the No Fees Stress commence next month

The government of Ghana under His Excellency the President John Dramani Mahama has directed students Loan Trust Fund to disburse back the fees paid by 2024/2025 academic year students. As of 12th May,2025, students Loan Trust Fund has been instructed to disburse all fees paid  by the students before the Policy was implemented early this year.

This reimbursement of fees will reduce financial burden on both parents and students and make them financial stable on campus to allow them have a sound mind for their academic activities.

Portal has been created for all eligible applicants to apply for reimbursement of the fees paid. All applicants should take note that validation will be done  against admission data  from associated Tertiary institution to check their qualifications for the reimbursement.

The reimbursement is said to commence next month probably that would be when second semester of this academic year will start.
