According to him, the allowance has come to stay and John Dramani Mahama and his government are making sure the allowance is treated like compensation for public sector workers aside the amount allocated for the teacher trainee allowance.
This statement means that, teacher trainees will receive allowance like how government or public sector workers are paid every month. Teacher trainees will receive their allowances on the day public sector workers are paid.
This initiative will help avoid late payments of teacher trainee allowances.
The government of Ghana and John Dramani Mahama remain committed to prioritize teacher trainees and teachers at large he said.
