Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana President decision on CETAG strike

JUSMAnewshub: 24th November,2025

In an interview on Joynews, President H.E Divine expressed the worries and challenges teacher trainees are likely to face if the strike continues for long. Therefore, he made the following statements:
1. The association will be left with no option but to advise teacher trainees to vacate the campuses and return home, only returning to school after the strike.
2. The association will not accept half‑weeks, unlike what happened a year ago, where teacher trainees were compelled to use 6 weeks for teaching, learning, and end‑of‑semester exams instead of 14 weeks post‑strike.
He lastly appealed to all stakeholders to help resolve the issue so the lecturers can return to the classrooms. Join us on WhatsApp for more updates https://chat.whatsapp.com/IwYdwerq679JpLNCAQXatL
