Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has officially released a revised academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic year following the four-month strike action by CETAG, which disrupted academic activities across public Colleges of Education in Ghana.

The prolonged industrial action created significant gaps in the academic schedule, leaving students and administrators uncertain about how lost time would be recovered. In response, PRINCOF considered it necessary to restructure the calendar to ensure that teaching and learning hours are fully restored. The revised calendar is designed to help students catch up academically while maintaining the quality of teacher education in the country.
