University of Development Studies ( UDS) opened Admission for 2026/2027 Academic year

The University for Development Studies has officially announced the opening of applications for the 2026/2027 Academic Year. The sale of admission forms begins on Friday, January 16, 2026, giving prospective students across the country the opportunity to apply to one of Ghana’s leading public universities.
According to the university, application e-vouchers will be available nationwide at eight designated banks. These e-vouchers will enable applicants to access the online application portal and complete their admission process with ease. The cost of undergraduate application forms has been set at GH¢200, while postgraduate applicants will pay GH¢250.

The announcement brings welcome news to thousands of senior high school students and other prospective applicants who are preparing for the next stage of their academic journey. Notably, candidates who will be writing the May/June 2026 West African Senior School Certificate Examination are eligible to apply as Awaiting Results applicants. This allows final-year students to secure a place early while awaiting the release of their examination results.
The University for Development Studies also provided specific information for applicants interested in programmes under the Faculty of Sustainable Development Studies. All candidates applying to Level 100 programmes within this faculty will be admitted to the Eastern Campus located in Yendi. Applicants are therefore advised to take note of this arrangement when selecting their programmes and campuses during the application process.
