Some years ago, there was a speed-reducing ramp placed a few meters from the hospital entrance. However, that ramp has long since been flattened likely due to the combined effect of road surface heat and heavy traffic rendering it ineffective. As a result, vehicles continue at high speeds past a location where vulnerability is high.

On the route toward Manet Junction, the situation is even graver. At Agblezaa, many lives have already been lost as a result of speeding and the negligence of drivers failing to yield to pedestrians.
